The
current location of the Visual Arts Brampton Creative Studio was
opened in 1992, moving from another location where the group was
founded in 1986. Renovated numerous times since then, the studio
is full-equipt for a variety of needs, including painting, drawing,
printmaking, digital art, and animation.
Visual Arts Brampton is open every weekday and two weeknights
for public use.
VAB has a large collection of image-filled reference books,
available for in-studio use or borrowing. Our digital projector
allows you to view a selection of international animations or
work from a photograph. Try a still lifejust browse through
our wide selection of items and find something that interests
you.
Soon, VAB-produced instructional videos will be available
for viewing, thanks to an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. As
well, our library includes art history and how-to books,
for inspiration and instruction.
The VAB Studio is located at 1 Bartley Bull Parkway,
Suite 10, on the corner of Main Street/Hurontario/Highway 10 and
Steeles Avenue, across from Shoppers World.
