Jacqueline Veltri

Jacqueline Veltri Riopka graduated from the Ontario College of
Art in 1992, and has worked as a freelance artist since, focusing
primarily of portraiture. Her preferred mediums are oil and graphite.
Riopka has illlustrated a manual for the Ontario Ministry of
Education, created logos for businesses, and a series of brochures
for a local Brampton literacy centre.
Joining Visual Arts Brampton in 2008, she was elected to the
Visual Arts Brampton Board of Directors the following year. She
became vice-president of the group in April 2010. She had a solo
show at the Brampton Board of Trade offices, in 2009 and early
2010.
She teaches the painting open studios at Visual Arts Brampton:
• Thursdays, 10 am to
2 pm
• Saturdays, 3 to 5 pm
