Fridge Front Gallery — Visual Arts Brampton

Fridge Front Gallery at Shoppers World Brampton mall is dedicated to youth art. Open to exhibits from Brampton and area, exhibits can come from schools, groups, and clubs. As the name suggests, the space is literally a series of vintage fridge doors, mounted to the wall. Securely locked behind glass, it provides a quirky backdrop to the artwork.

While there may be other exhibit spaces where youth art is shown, since our launch in April 2005, Fridge Front has remained that only permanent youth-only art exhibit space in the GTA.

	Schools are open to propose exhibits at any point, preferably using the main six fridge door section. Read the schedule below, then contact us.
Dec	A John Knox Christmas: Art by Students from John Knox Christian School, 28 November 2009 to 8 January 2010. Christmas art display, featuring a five-foot tall collage of a Nativity scene. Works are by students from junior kindergarden to grade 8.
Jan
Feb	Mayfield Secondary School Regional Arts Program, dates to be decided, February 2010.
Mar	*Celebrating Canada's Paralympians*, late-February to early-March, 2010.
Apr	North Peel Secondary School, March 22 to April 9, 2010.
